UNEXPECTED: No players knelt during the national anthem this week

Not a single player knelt during the National Anthem this week, marking the first time the game has been free of disrespectful “protests” since Colin Kaepernick first took that fateful knee in 2013.

 

 

“It’s been a long road,” Steeler head coach Mike Tomlin said, “I know it’s been one item after another for me since I took over for Chin. He’s only had to deal with the million-dollar fine. I I get a new one every weekend.” Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy says the whole thing really got out of hand this season. “It’s a regular thing,” McCarthy said, “but now we get a new meme sometimes twice a week.” To remind us that such a thing should not happen.
